Asker will have to decide what fits better depending on the variant required.
Charles Davis May 10, 2013:
@ Robert I stand corrected; a little research confirms what you say. In US English, "coursework" does simply mean "courses". As you can guess from my response, this is absolutely not the case in British English, where "coursework" means assessed assignments. This is reflected in the Wikipedia article on "coursework", and in a number of dictionaries, including Random House, which I thought was supposed to reflect American usage:
http://www.memidex.com/coursework

I gather, then, that in the US "completed coursework" will not be understood by anyone to mean "completed assignments". That is certainly how anyone in the UK (and I think Ireland) would understand it. Whether it would be better, on that account, to avoid any possible ambiguity by using "courses" is a matter of judgment.
Robert Forstag May 10, 2013:
At least in US English... "coursework" is used as a synonym of "courses." We therefore see references on university websites to "coursework records" and the like. Here is one example: www.ndm.edu/offices-and-services/registrar/student-records - Cached. There are many others.
Billh May 10, 2013:
Sounds to me like subjects, or courses, completed. Not coursework. Asignatura is not usually assignment or coursework in an academic context.

@ Taña ¡Muchas gracias! Busqué en Proz antes de preguntar, pero no vi esta respuesta. Un abrazo,

certificate of courses taken

The previous ProZ entry for this is wrong. "Asignaturas" means courses, not coursework or assignments, and "rendidas" means "taken". "Materias rendidas" is also said. "Rendir una asignatura" means to take a course; "aprobar una asignatura" is to pass a course. There is also a "Certificado de Asignaturas Aprobadas", which is a certificate of courses passed.

I'm sorry, but I just can't understand how "certificate of completed coursework" found its way into the glossary.

agree Billh : I can understand it completely, in my field I find about half the answers to be wrong. I keep telling people not to rely on it.

Thanks, Bill. However, it turns out there is more to this than meets the eye: it depends on the target.
