Bigger is not always better Maria . You collect more stuff as the time passes by. When I opened one of the drawers today to see exactly what was there, I realized that on the very bottom, I had many brand new glue sticks, pencils, erasers and crayons that we had bought for our son when he first started kindergarten. (We often buy in bulk, since we are members of a warehouse here.) This last September we were supposed to buy him same things, we had already forgotten that we had them in stock, in my drawer... I think I will remember this for this coming Sept. ; however, I am not sure how good these glues sticks are going to be two years after they were purchased...
Monika
p.s. Thanks to this thread, I put away some of the dictionaries that I did not need at this time .
I can breath better now . Thanks Gianni!

I thought I was the only minimalist around here.
All I have is:
A mug I use to hold my pencils
A form I'm currently working on
Two flash drives.
My cell phone.
Hmm... Strike the flash drives, they're going back in my drawer, no longer need them. | | | Henk Peelen Netherlands Local time: 04:58 Member (2003) German to Dutch + ... SITE LOCALIZER Thank God it's Friday | Feb 24, 2006 |

how long does it take you to find the keyboard in the morning? But don't worry, my desk looks more or less the same. Every now and then I try to put order in the mess, but it doesn't help much. Post -it notes and sheets and books and CD- ROM and pencils and pens and dictionaries are like the arabic phoenix. You never get rid of them

That would work. I can only think of another tagline now, but not as powerful as yours though: Saving your lives
Really, I have more space on my desk now.
Have a good one,

But then, I have a second desk and a desk overflow shelf. The overflow shelf contains various dictionaries and various papers. And the second desk has a pile in one corner that also contains assorted papers.
I suppose I ought go searching - who knows what I might find? I will explore them some day soon, when I have the time. Perhaps I'll manage it when my current big job is finished. Only a few days to go. Perhaps.
One consolation - I don't have a pet to help me disorganise. And the rest of the family don't need to use my desk. ▲ Collapse | | | Pages in topic: < [1 2 3 4] > | To report site rules violations or get help, contact a site moderator: You can also contact site staff by submitting a support request » Items on your desktop right now LinguaCore |
