Hur skriver man bäst "berörd sökande" i bestämd form plural i exemplet nedan?
(a) "Infrastrukturförvaltaren ska samråda med de berörda sökandena om de planerade kapacitetsbegränsningarna."
(b) "Infrastrukturförvaltaren ska samråda med de berörda sökande om de planerade kapacitetsbegränsningarna."
Källtexten på engelska är:
"The infrastructure manager shall consult the applicants concerned on the envisaged capacity restrictions."

Spontant tycker jag att du kan använda "med berörda sökande". Substantivet "sökande" är av samma slag som "studerande", dvs. härlett från ett verb. Alternativ funkar även "med de berörda sökandena" (SAOL anger just sökandena).
