You can use Spam Assassin to block these e-mails from your business account. Just use an asterisk as a placeholder:

*@hotmail.com
*@gmail.com
*@yahoo.com

etc.

It is rare, in the U.S. at least, for individuals to order anything more than a birth certificate or such anyway.

Works just on messages from the person who reached you via your proz profile and where the IP is shown in the header. With messages directed from gmail and hotmail servers it won´t work; they just bear a general provider IP, but not the position from where the mail was sent from. That´s the reason why I never react to offers from users with those domain addresses (I got the same message). Also I am curious what´s behind those messages and what other trick they try to scrounge you off (once I delivered a small translation to a sender who has taken over the email address of an existing real proz profile. When the swindle has beenrevealed, I found out by help of proz staff it was an Egyptian profile), it´s just wasting of time ...
Hope, other members will be warned by your message!

Best regards,

Matthias
