Attention needed when you receive an e-mail from linguistico.au@gmail.com, the sender name can be Jaquline, Emily White, Amanda; it may bear the address as follows, eg.:

Then it CLEARLY means that they are SCAMMERS.

Attention that they EVEN issue JOB NUMBERS/CODE and the consequent invoices to you too, after delivery of jobs.

Please note that the company Linguistico is perfectly valid and legitimate; the scammers purporting to be from this company and using a "gmail.com" address are not.

Your comments are greatly appreciated. The more we can alert translators to this scam, the better.

Our view remains the same that a business with its own domain name will never (or rarely) use a free webmail account for sending emails, unless they are Google! If you receive one, either delete it immediately or pay caution and alert ProZ / TC, as well as the relevant forums.
