I received a letter today from the "RSI - Répertoire des Sociétés et des Indépendants", stating that I had a bill of €652 to pay.
This is not from the real RSI - Régime Social des Indépendants. It is a scam and should be ignored. It is surprising how much information is contained on the letter; name, address, creation date, APE code, etc. The SIRET number on my letter was wrong, but the rest was correct.

On the back of the letter is a series of clauses, one of which states that "cette offre n'est pas obligatoire", nicely covering their backs from any kind of accusations.
This is not a real letter from the real RSI, and they actually have posted a warning against it on their official website:
