Proz.com app not available in some countries Thread poster: Susanna Martoni

As already reported to the Proz.com staff, the Proz app (iphone, for sure) is not available in some countries, like Italy.
Could someone give an answer about when it will be available again?
It is a disadvantage for many of us.

I don't use ProZ.com official app. But if this is just geo-blocking nonsense, you can easily bypass it with a VPN.

I use Android, and on Google Play Store this app isn't available for my device due to the app having been developed for older Android versions. This is particularly annoying because I received an e-mail about the app, like why send me an e-mail if the app hasn't been updated for the last 5 years?

Also says on my Android it's built for an older version of Android. As I'm just getting started it I find this a bit frustrating / off-putting. 😔

Hi everybody,
Since that the app is not available anymore on Google Play, you can download an older version from another site and then use it on your android phone.
This is what I did, I downloaded from this site: https://proz-com-mobile.en.softonic.com/android
Then I installed it on my phone, signed in on my ProZ account and everything is fine.
PS: you may receive a message like virus alert when you install it, but I checked the installation, and it's virus free.

Comments from staff a year ago mentioned the app was in development. It's been a full year now - I would've thought it'd be finished by now. So what's the deal? Where's the app?

And funny thing when you search for ProZ on PlayStore, the results are all other freelancers platforms, but not ProZ.
