I mostly work as an interpreter, but recently I was offered a job to proofread and edit some translated material in the medical field. Can someone tell me what they would usually charge for a job such as this.

Charge your usual hourly rate, I'd say.

That said, the hourly rate charged by translators here in ZA is about one half to one third of the hourly rate charged by interpreters.
