På syttitallet utga Norsk språkråd ”Norsk data ordbok” (bemerk orddelingen/særskrivingen)
Der er det mange morsomme eksempler http://itpro.no/art/8936.html
I teknisk ordbok fra Ibas står det fremdeles datalefse= diskett.

Av andre interessante oversettelser ble tastatur (keyboard) til tangentfjøl og programvare (software) ble til mykvare.
