Diana, Thank you very much for the details of the other events in Dublin. Dalia and I will almost certainly go to the debate on Friday 15 June about Ireland's multicultural transformation -- a topic in which we both have a strong interest. Neither of us has taken part yet in a Bloomsday Tour, so we might join you on 16 June -- that would be a nice international group. The proposal for an additional topic on "books about Ireland and Irish people (and language) written by foreign pople" is interesting and I hope that we can find time to discuss it at some stage during what looks like a very busy day I also think that it is very relevant to the situation we now face in Ireland and the views of others should be very welcome and illuminating.

I would like to make this a late lunch/ very early dinner at 4pm. We can then go to the Library Bar of the Central Hotel, where the others can join us around 6pm.

For those of you who confirmed meeting for a meal: the restaurant came back to me to say that the Fallon & Byrne's kitchen closes between 15.00 - 18.00 on Saturday, so we will not be able to meet there at 4pm, as previoulsy agreed.
If you still want to meet at 4pm, we can go directly to the Central Hotel and decide what to do.
Could you all please confirm getting this and get back to me? I would still like to make it 4pm, so let me know if that still suits.

I will tell Dalia about the change in plans -- she is at present interpreting in the District Court. Her mobile number is 086 152 6727.
But you might also consider reverting to the earlier time of 2:00 p.m., trying a different restaurant. Menupages.ie lists 44 restaurants in the Temple Bar area; and if you want any suggestions, we use "Elephant and Castle" and "The Bad Ass" now and again. There is also a very nice place where opposite the EnFO building on St Andrews Stre... See more Hi Diana,

You will have to check this place visually, as I can't remember the name. There is also La Caverna in Fownes Street, open Saturdays, 2 to 11.
