That's true, they can easily be spotted. 
I'm more wondering if when voting in a poll let's say on your income, ProZ staff can see what you have selected.

Hello everyone,
When suggesting a poll, a member may choose to be credited for the poll by name and link to their profile, or to not be credited for the poll, in which case the poll will be "anonymous".
Regarding poll answers and answerers, these get recorded in the database (so that the poll service can tell whether you've voted or not, and allows you to do so when you haven't yet), but not disclosed publicly to site users, or even looked at by site staff --we have to... See more Hello everyone,

Surely there are ways to make the polls anonymous with modern tools that could be easily implemented.
Until then, I will no longer vote in polls that ask for personal information.

This is the last thing you may worry about. There are dozens of polls every week... Do you really think they track every answer? Why? Oh no, now they know I use MT lol.

Hi Lucia, thanks for your quick reply. Just for clarity: if I understand correctly, the responders are linked to their answers and the questions in the forum records.
Please correct me if I am wrong. Although the relevance might be low today, given the current trends in many countries, it's good to be aware of it.
