Dear colleagues!
I would like to ask about your experience.
I worked for a polish agency since some months ago. I was satisfied with the work, and the communication, the payment was on time and generally everything was ok.
However, the last pament I have received from them was about seven and half EUR smaller. I checked it out in my bank and they put all the payment at the beneficiary. I asked the person responsible for the accounting but she haven´t answered me about this.<

I thought it was done by a mistake, anyway.
I think that if it wasn´t agreed before, they shouldn´t change the way they pay me.
What would you do? Charge it back in the next invoice? (I know, it´s only seven euro), but I didn´t like the way without saying anything... Or forget it and for the next time only clearly agree on the payment methode.

Thanks for your opinion.

Companies In Slovakia Apr 8, 2011

I used to work some small projects from a Slovakian small company and once there was an invoice of 8 euros for a less than a pages translations project and then I got the email on moneybookers (the payments service that I use) the email stated doubled value 16 euros. By the way when you send the invoice you send the payment method and payment type too, am I correct?

Thank you, amurati,
yes, we have agreed the wire transfer. The company doesn´t practise other payment methods, ej. moneybookers - I had offered to them this option. (Normally you don´t write on your invoice who is paying for the transfer charge, at least I don´t know about it). So it is up to them, who´s name they put as the transfer charge payer (OUR, SHA or BEN). (Or - it´s question of an agreement) Isn´t it?

And as the company payed the first two or three invoices and we shared bank fees (SHA), I supposed that it will continue in the next payments too. I was just surprised because it never happend to me with any agency based abroad. If someone doesn´t want to pay the transfer charge, just asks me about the other option, ej. moneybookers and we do it that way. But no one did the payment this way.
