You need Trados... Jul 7, 2012

As far as I am aware you need Trados for that. I will be happy to help in the conversion. Please feel free to email me via my profile and I will reply as soon as I can.

Edited to add this: What I assume is that your customer sent you a memory that was exported from Trados as a TXT file, and that you need a TMX file to import such memory to memoQ. If this is the situation, I'll be glad to help.

There are some forum topics that include this problem, e.g.
http://www.proz.com/forum/wordfast_support/206033-how_to_convert_trados_tm_to_wordfast_format.html
and
http://www.proz.com/forum/wordfast_support/155656-tm_header_is_invalid.html

In the second of these, Pablo Bouvier has a link to the program trados2tmx:
https://www.box.com/shared/kgqfgz6iea
and he includes instructions for using it.
I have this program and I use it to convert txt files exported from Trados, to obtain tmx files, which I then open with Wordfast (classic) which immediately converts them into Wordfast's own format.
I hope that is useful to you.

Oliver

TTX vs. TXT Jul 8, 2012

Can you be more specific? TTX is the format of bilingual document translated with TagEditor. TXT can be anything.

If, by "txt file", you mean a legacy Tradox export TM, as Tomás tried to guess, you can also use ApSIC Xbench in order to convert it into a TMX memory, as explained here:

http://www.wordfast.net/?kb=166-32

Once you have a valid TMX, you can import it into memoQ.

Dear Oliver,
thank you for the link to Pablo's suggestion
