Penalty for punctuation marks

To whom it may concern,

I am using version 4.5.78 of MemoQ. My query refers to slight variations in punctuation which may not bring up a suitable match in the target text column. Is there a way I can cancel the penalty imposed on a dash or an exclamation mark, when all the gist of the segment remains the same? This means that I must manually look up the text (minus the punctuation mark) to find the absolutely identical previous translation in the memory.
