Dear colleagues,
Here's my next beginner's questions about MemoQ:
I want to deliver the clean translated file along with a tmx export. What's the best way to achieve this? I reckon there's no way to export the bilingual translated file directly to tmx? Do I have to create an empty TM every time, clean the translated document into it, and then export to tmx? Many thanks in advance,

Open memoQ's help and see the article entitled "Statistics".
The option you are looking for is on the "Statistics" dialog box of memoQ and it's called "Create project TM".

In that case, you can export a part of the memory using the filters, for instance if you know the dates you started and finished your translation.
To do this, go to the project, click on Translation Memories on the left, select the memory, click on Edit and choose the dates (After and/of Before). You will get the part of the TM that corresponds t... See more Hi Erik,

Dear JC,
Many thanks, your suggestion was very helpful! So that's where the filters are hidden - strange.
Kind regards,

Dear Epameinondas,
Great, thanks a lot! That's a lot easier than in SDL Trados Studio 2009!

Or you could create a new TM on the translation memories tab and commit the translated documents into the new TM and just export that particular TM as a tmx file.
