Is it possible for memoQ to manage XML files converted to ttx (with an .xml.ttx extension), but without a DTD nor an XSD file, only an ini-file like in Trados TagEditor? May be this is a silly or an already answered question, but I do not get the point of this. Many thanx in advance for your kind help!

You can translate in MemoQ any ttx file that has been pretranslated in Workbench. You have to make sure each segment in ttx file has both source and target content - you usually do this by translating in Workbench with "Segment unknown sentences" option set.
