Just a stupid question.
When you put (\d+) as Autotranslation rule and $1 as Replace order rule in the Options window, you receive dark green suggestions on your machines and for your languages?

Just a stupid question.
When you put (\d+) as Autotranslation rule and $1 as Replace order rule in the Options window, you receive dark green suggestions on your machines and for your languages?
I don't manage to make it work on my notebook (I'm out of home, I can't take a look on another machine), I can only define working autotranlation rules at the project level (Project Manager, Settings, Autotranslatables).
MQ 3.6.10.
PS.
The abovementionned example is a very simple placeable-like suggestion for numerals.

Thank you very much! It works fine. I tried to get used how to deal with these auto-translation rules, but no success. Now one of my biggest problem in MemoQ gone away. Thanks a lot.

The problem is I want to have some different sets of rules for every language pair, e.g., for decimal separator conversion, something like:
1)
Source EN: (\d+)\.(\d+)
Target PL: $1,$2
2)
Source PL: (\d+),(\d+)
Target EN: $1.$2
Decidely, the autotranslatable rules don't work for language pairs, tested

In fact, I think this kind of basic rule should be shipped out of the box...
The placeables insertion is one of the first questions of the escaped from Trados.

Only project level autotranslatables work in projects. By setting up autotranslatables at the global level (in Tools > Options), you only set up the "default" autotranslatables for new projects with that language pair. In other words, global settings will only work in future projects, not in current ones. This is the memoQ 3.6 settings logic, which will change with quite a bit 4.0 and the translation resource framework.

Well. you're right.
I don't read the documentation carefully
I think on of the major problems with MQ is the Global settings window, it's really unreadable and counterintuitive.
E.g. if you had splitted it in two sections, let's say, Global settings for instant changes (TM settings, appareance, etc.) and Global templates for future changes (containing Segmentation rules, Autotranslatables, Nontranslatables, Negation rules etc.), it would have been more clear...
In the same way, a dummy or a beginner is unable to deal with the segmentation rules etc. (first on the list), so it makes no sense to pin it on the top.
The most important basic settings (TM defaults and Subsegment leverage) are #6 and #5 on the list in MQ 3.6).
Of course, it's still better than Multiterm GUI but, unlike Multiterm guys, you can do better
BTW.
When I execute the Tools -> Options command, I expect the window should be named in the same way i.e. Options, not Global Settings.
