Hello everybody,
I am doing a sworn translation for a client and I keep receiving requests on how to do things, for example, where to put my certification, if pages are to be stapled together or not...
I thought sworn translations are to abide by the legal requirements of the country they are issued in and the client cannot decide much about that.
What do you think? Has the same thing happened to anybody else?

AFAIK, sworn translations are indeed governed by the legal requirements of the country in question. If your client wants to go ahead and run the risk of their documents being rejected for non-compliance with stantdard procedure, that's his/her problem, surely? I suppose they must have a reason or criterion for their demands...
