Sulla pagina col titolo "participants" http://www.proz.com/conference/205?page=participants si legge che ci sono 678 persone registered per questa conferenza.
Saranno sicuramente registrate, ma a me pare che sia la parte di gran lunga maggiore dei nomi indicati e che i partecipanti effettivi siano una piccolissima parte.... Saranno sicuramente registrate, ma a me pare che sia la parte di gran lunga maggiore dei nomi indicati e che i partecipanti effettivi siano una piccolissima parte.
Insomma, si può sapere, a poco più di un giorno dall'inizio della conferenza, quanti partecipanti ci saranno davvero? Mi sembrerebbe un atto di trasparenza dovuto - e non me ne vogliano gli organizzatori che sicuramente hanno fatto un ottimo lavoro.

scusa, con tutto il rispetto, a me sembra che quella di Christel fosse una domanda molto semplice e diretta, se non ci sono segreti (per quale motivo poi?), perché non rispondere in modo altrettanto semplice, invece che in un tono tra il burocratico (invia una richiesta al support) e un ufficio marketing aziendale, parlando di dati di vendita e, di fatto, non rispondendo.

scusa, con tutto il rispetto, a me sembra che quella di Christel fosse una domanda molto semplice e diretta, se non ci sono segreti (per quale motivo poi?), perché non rispondere in modo altrettanto semplice, invece che in un tono tra il burocratico (invia una richiesta al support) e un ufficio marketing aziendale, parlando di dati di vendita e, di fatto, non rispondendo.
Dopotutto, sia Christel che altre persone potrebbero avere intenzione di partecipare anche dopo avere sapendo se l'evento raduna 100 o 250 o 750 persone, e valutando l'informazione ricevuta.

Sorry, me again. I'm fielding things here to allow Daniela to turn her attention to the final preparations for the event.
It makes sense to want to know how many people may be attending an event. This may be more clearly reflected on conference pages in the future. I hope both you and Christel can make it to the event, and the interest in this conference is appreciated!

indeed it makes perfectly sense, as I pointed out, before seeing your answer that arrived almost at the same time, but Christel was not exactly getting an answer.
I'm not coming, as I live in Brazil and not in Italy, but I have to say that when we had an event in Brazil, last year, it was down literally down my road (10 minutes walking distance), and yet, I could not bring myself to go. I think that you may guess the reasons, right?

Everyone attends industry events (or not) for their own reasons, and gets from those events what they choose to get (or not!), nothing wrong with that. I hope you reconsider for future events in Brazil, but that's probably OT here. I won't be in Rome for this one, unfortunately, but I do plan to follow along via the virtual components of the event, since it looks like it will be a great conference. Let me take the opportunity to send regards to the attendees, several of whom I have spoken with recently, and wish everyone an excellent event!

Il problema secondo me nasce dal fatto che la pagina dell'evento indica il numero di persone registrate. E la registrazione serve solo per dare la possibilità di ricevere informazioni e aggiornamenti sugli eventi, ma chi si è solo registrato e non ha pagato non ha un posto prenotato. Questo sistema è sempre stato identico per tutte le conferenze di Proz., per quello che mi ricordo io. Forse sarebbe interessante in futuro pensare di pubblicare anche il numero di chi ha pagato per l'evento, ch...
