为什么诺贝尔奖得主屠呦呦至今尚未当选为中国国家科学院院士？众说纷纭，有的说是因为无博士学位、无留洋背景，有的说是因为年龄超过了65岁。我觉得年龄应该不是问题。杨振宁先生出生于1922年，1994年当选为中国科学院外籍院士时已经72岁，2016年加入中国籍后转为中国科学院院士时已经94岁。至于“无留洋背景”，我觉得也不是原因。如果“留洋背景”是必要条件，岂不意味着只有“海归”才能当选中国科学院院士？实际上，并非所有中国国家科学院院士都有“留洋背景”。至于博士学位，有多少不学无术的高官都以“在职研究生”名义获得了博士头衔！难道具有真才实学的屠呦呦却反而做不到这一点？还有人说是因为她发表论文的数量不够。发表论文是总结科研成果。难道屠呦呦科研成果的重要性和实用性还抵不上几篇论文吗？难道屠呦呦科研的重要性和实用性还比不上“关公战秦琼的可行性研究”吗？究竟屠呦呦为何不能当选为中国国家科学院院士，俺不敢妄加猜测，还是由别人去解释吧！不过，我希望屠呦呦院士能够早日为中国国家科学院增添些含金量，也给中国国家科学院留下点面子。

但十分诡异的是，中央一级的官方媒体却对此集体保持沉默。中央电视台大概实在觉得过意不去，才于5月1日在报导其他各条新闻的末尾一带而过地报导了此事：“4月30日，美国国家科学院公布了新当选的院士和外籍院士。此次共计120名院士和30名外籍院士当选。诺奖得主、中国中医科学院青蒿素研究中心屠呦呦教授当选外籍院士。”

在另一方面，中国大陆有不少媒体发表文章质疑，为什么荣获诺贝尔奖的屠呦呦教授至今未能当选中国科学院院士。然而，这些文章几乎都被删除。我在网上能看到文章的标题，但打开链接后只能看到“抱歉，你来到了没有知识的荒原！”或“抱歉，你想看的文章已被外星人劫持了！”，或其他类似的调侃话语。我在想，难道我访问之处真是“没有知识的荒原”吗？

有人问，屠呦呦女士当选美国国家科学院外籍院士，“美帝打的是谁的脸？”实际上，美国国家科学院与“美帝”根本就不是一回事。如果谁觉得被打了脸，也只是自己心虚。请看百度百科关于美国国家科学院的介绍：

Memory is a narrative practice that connects events in novel combinations and creates a network of relations. The tsunami of information destroys narrative inwardness. Denarrativized memories resemble “junk shops—great dumps of images of all kinds and origins, used and shop-soiled symbols, piled up any old how.” The things in a junk shop are a chaotic, disorderly heap.
