memoQ uses small fonts in many crucial parts of its GUI.
CafeTran Espresso allows the user to set the font and font size in nearly all parts of its GUI, allowing optimal adaption for translators with bad eyesight.
Also, nearly every part of the GUI (panes, etc.) can be made floatable and positioned on other screens, with different resolutions.

memoQ offers tracking of changes, both in native and third-party projects.
Great news: finally it's there. CafeTran Espresso 11 supports tracked changes in Studio projects.
Tracking Changes. This new feature is available via the Edit > Track Changes > Manage menu. See the Changes tab after activation. There, you can Accept and Reject changes to the current target segment.
Filtering on tracked changes via the Filter menu.
Accepting or rejecting all tracked changes in one task via the Task menu.

Glossaries are simple, can be switched to case-sensitive/case-tolerant with two clicks. They are tolerant for language variants (locales) (but you can create specific glossaries for US, UK, AU etc.).
And most of all: you can edit/bulk modify them in one go, with the Find dialogue box or in a text editor. In both cases you don’t have to interrupt your work on your current project.
In-grid QA report versus separate view for QA report
Sep 3, 2022
memoQ (in this case version 2015!) uses a separate view for the QA report. You have to navigate through the segments in the lower part of the screen and ignore errors or correct them. Not very handy, if you ask me.
In CafeTran Espresso you work directly in the grid, as if you were translating. You can easily and directly modify the segments. You can see the whole segments directly. You can do Find and Replace actions to eliminate differences etc.
