Help uninstalling Cafe Tran Thread poster: Sarah McDowell

This may seem like a simple question, but how do you uninstall Cafe Tran? It doesn't show up in my list of programs in my Control Panel but I have it installed and want to remove it.
Any advice?

Hello Sarah,
CafeTran being cross-platform, I only assume you are on Windows because you have mentioned the Control Panel. If not, feel free to rectify.
If CafeTran is installed at the default location, open Windows Explorer, go to your Local disk (C:, probably), open the CafeTran Espresso folder > Uninstaller > Run the Uninstaller.jar

I am on Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit Operating System. I figured it out, thanks a lot!

.jar files are Java executables, I think a double-click should work if you have Java installed!
There is a simple uninstall dialog that should launch after that.

Hello,
Has anyone had this type of error when uninstalling this software: "File 'C:\CafeTran Espresso\cafetran\unins000.dat' does not exist. Cannot uninstall."?

Hello Ivona,
If some uninstall files are missing, you might install it again to bring them back. After that, repeat uninstalling. If that does not help, you can just remove the main installation folder.
