"Deputies spotted the suspect driving the stolen radio car near Newhall Ranch Road."
Report about a crime. The suspect stole a deputy's police car. In other parts of the report it is called a "patrol car," but it is referred to frequently as a "radio car," meaning, I suppose, that it is equipped with a police radio.
I've used "coche patrullero" for patrol car.
Oh, this is English from Southern California. The Spanish-speaking audience is not specified, so any dialect will be helpful.

: Yo creo que se refiere al vehículo (radiopatrulla), no a la persona (radiopatrullero)/Tal vez sea así en Argentina, pero no en España ni México. Mira tus enlaces 2 y 3: "el radiopatrullero (el oficial) recibió el reporte..."
