I was wrong, it's not the cutting teeth, but rather the number of "teeth" on the sprocket at the end of the bar

Umlenkstern?
Im AT sind aber die Zähne des in die Nose integrierten Umlenkrades (sprocket) gemeint. Mehr Zähne = weniger Verschleiß, weil sich die Beanspruchung dann auf mehr Zähne verteilt und weil der Radius größer ist. Deswegen steht an der anderen Stelle ja auch etwas von größerer Breite der Schiene des beworbenen Produkts: Die braucht man, um das größere Umlenkrad unterzubringen.
