Russian term

Страховые интересы принимает на себя страховое общество направляющей стороны

Russian to English Law/Patents Insurance
Что-то я не очень понимаю про эти самые интересы.
Я прочитал определения "страховых интересов", но это мне не очень помогло...

The Misha Aug 21, 2017:
Insurance interests will be assumed by the Sending Party's insurance company". Yes, you can have an insurable interest, but your insurance company cannot "assume an insurance interest". It can assume liability for damage to your insurable interest in exchange for you paying the premiums. That's how it's usually phrased in English. The way the asker phrased it, as quoted above, makes no sense whatsoever. This is what usually happens when one translates words.
The Misha Aug 17, 2017:
This is indeed poor and asinine Russian What it most likely means is that the Sending Party will be the beneficiary of the insurance coverage to be purchased by the Receiving Party from an insurer of its own choosing. At least that's what would make logical sense. This is also the way it is usually done in situations such as the one you are dealing with. The party lending the art would predicate doing so, among other terms, on the recipient purchasing property coverage for it for a specified amount, designating the donor as the beneficiary. Otherwise, who would want to take the risk of shipping their valuable art to Elbonia or wherever?

Страховые интересы принимает на себя страховое общество направляющей стороны

"Направляющей стороны" - of the sending party
The other part of the sentence may seem confusing because of the word order:
правительственные гарантии предоставляются "Принимающей стороной", the receiving party must provide a government guarantee

I.e. the sending party's insurance company will assume liability for the insurable interest and/or the receiving party will arrange for this insurable interest to be guaranteed by the government

Insurable interest:

Any interest a person has in property that is the subject of insurance, so that damage to the property would cause the insured a financial loss or other tangible deprivation. Generally, an insurable interest must be demonstrated when a policy is issued and must exist at the time of a loss.

Note from asker:
Значит я все-таки думал в правильном направлении. Таким образом Insurance interests will be assumed by the Sending Party's insurance company.
