Thanks for the video! Did you try to do a comparison with Apple Live Text? It's the same thing as Google Lens but it's embedded in the system for latest MACOS and IOS devices (dates back to 2020 or 2021 I think, somebody correct me here). It would be interesting to compare the two.

Luckily, I have a macro in Keyboard Maestro that uses Tesseract for OCR. The results are quite good:
