French to English Tech/Engineering Textiles / Clothing / Fashion carpet tiles
"Sur un sol dur les tapis de décoration sont en surépaisseur, pieds et béquilles peuvent s'y accrocher alors qu'avec les dalles, décor et revêtement sont de la même épaisseur."

I can visualise what it means but can't think of the right word.

In fact, what I think they are saying is that a rug is decorative and attractive, but can cause problems by tripping on it because it is a different level. This product must have some type of flooring that has a design printed on it (all-in-one) much like the effect of a rug.
