Vu la requete conjointe en divorce des epoux XXX/YYY en date du ZZZ
Vu la passerelle du (same date as above)
I believe a passerelle refers to the fact this is a joint petition for divorce, but don't know of the UK equivalent, if any.
Any input much appreciated!

: asker wanted UK eqiv. - you cannot get a divorce by "mutual consent" in UK - you can however get a divorce after a period of 2 years separation, provided the respondent consents

: AT's objection is irrelevant. This is translation, not divorce, and we cannot make the people get a divorce in the UK just so we can translate the documents more easily!

: THAT would be the meaning of "requête conjointe" // "la passerelle" must be something else, a different point, as it's introduced under a separate "vu ..." - (basics of sentence structure) // see https://www2.proz.com/kudoz/7152868

Comment: "Many thanks to everyone for their help. I found refs pointing to the 'mutual consent' aspect of this passerelle (for divorce in France), but this confirmation and term is great. Thanks."
