1.0.3 Vacuum conveyor and vacuum pump
The vacuum pump is driven by motor [A]. The incremental encoder [B31] communicates the speed parameters to the printer.
The vacuum conveyor suction force can be adjusted by [C]. The suction device holds the signatures tight on the flat belts, which guarantees an optimum print quality. If no print job is received within 30 seconds, the vacuum pump switches off. When a new print job comes in or the Start button is pressed, the vacuum pump switches back on.
